Lyro’s AI song generator turns a text description, with or without lyrics, into a complete song: instruments, a sung vocal and a produced mix. You describe the genre, mood and voice. Lyro makes it on one of two models: Lyro High, the default, whose model came first in the one small blind test we have run, or Lyro Extra. You get a track you can download as MP3 or FLAC. A song costs 4 credits on Lyro High and 5 credits on Lyro Extra, whatever its length.

How it works

Paste your lyrics into Lyro, choose a genre, a mood and a voice, and Lyro writes a melody and an arrangement and sings your words over them. You get one finished, mixed song of up to 3 minutes, ready to download as MP3 or FLAC. It is made on Lyro High for 4 credits or on Lyro Extra for 5 credits, whatever its length. The melody is the model’s own: if you already sing a tune for your words, record it and use voice memo to song instead.

How it works

Song Ad turns the address of a product page into a song that sells the product. Paste the page, such as a Shopify product, an app’s landing page or a service page, and Lyro reads it, writes a short brief around one customer, with a first line that sounds like a confession and only the benefits the page itself states, then writes the lyrics and sings a 60 to 100 second song on Lyro High that ends on your call to action and a short instrumental ending. It costs 12 credits for 60 seconds, up to 20 credits for 100, on every paid plan. If you want the video too, the Clip step draws a storyboard, one picture per sung line with the same character in every shot and your product in the shots about it, animates the shots you pick and cuts a 9:16 MP4 to the song. Our 60-second example took 40 credits for the storyboard and 79 credits to animate every shot.

How it works

Lyro makes a video ad from the address of a product page, and the ad comes with its own song. Song Ad reads the page and writes and sings a 60 to 100 second ad song that claims only what the page says. The Clip step then draws a storyboard, one picture per sung line with the same character in every shot and your product in the shots about it, animates the shots you choose, and puts together a 1080 × 1920 MP4 with the sung words on screen, your page’s own offer and an end card. Our 60-second example cost 12 credits for the song, 40 credits for the storyboard and 79 credits to animate every shot, on any paid plan.

Paste the address of your product or website page and Song Ad writes and sings a 60 to 100 second ad song around it, with your name in the chorus, only the benefits your page states and your call to action at the end. For a short jingle, describe it in a sentence and Create makes a song from 30 seconds on Lyro High for 4 credits. Both come with a commercial licence on every paid plan, and both can be cut to 15 or 30 seconds in the studio. There is no free tier.

You can set a BPM and key; the models treat them as guidance rather than an exact lock, so check the result if a vocal or a DJ set has to sit on it.

How it works

Lyro’s AI vocal generator sings the lyrics you give it, in 12 languages and in voice types such as soulful female, deep male, rap or duet. It can sing inside a full generated song, or over a beat you upload, in which case the vocal comes back as an isolated stem. Sung lyrics go to Lyro High by default, whose model scored 4.67 out of 5 for Turkish pronunciation in our one small internal blind test; Lyro Extra is the second choice for English, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Portuguese.

How it works

Upload a beat and give Lyro your lyrics, or say what the song is about and let it write them. Lyro’s vocal model listens to the beat itself and sings your words on its tempo and grid, then returns the vocal alone, as its own track, usually in two to three minutes. Your beat is never altered. Leave the lyrics empty and Lyro writes words sized to the beat itself, then sings them the same way. Either way, the beat and the new vocal open together in the mixer.

It detects the tempo and key of your voice in the browser, then Lyro’s studio tools compose drums, bass and other instruments that follow your phrasing. They come back as a new track of instruments only. Your original vocal stays untouched on its own track, and the two play together in the mixer, where you balance them, add effects and master the result.

Export the memo from your phone and drop it into Lyro. It reads the tempo and key of your singing in the browser, then writes the instruments that are missing, such as drums, bass, chords and keys, in the style you describe. Upload an acapella you recorded, a dry vocal with no music under it, and Lyro writes the instrumental around it. It reads the tempo and key in your browser, then Lyro’s studio tools compose drums, bass, chords and other parts that follow your phrasing, returned as a separate track of instruments only. Your acapella is not changed, re-sung or cloned: the two play together in the studio, where you balance them and master. It costs one credit per started minute, with a minimum of 5 credits, on every plan.

Upload a beat and leave the lyrics empty. Lyro’s lyric writer plans words that fit the beat’s length and tempo, and its vocal model listens to the beat and sings them on it, a topline returned as an isolated vocal track. Your beat is not changed. You can describe the voice in a line, such as a soulful lead with a melodic hook. Use it to find a hook or a cadence, then keep the words, change them, or write your own and run it again. It costs 6 credits for a beat of up to 5 minutes, on every plan.

How it works

Upload your beat, say in a line what the song is about, and Lyro writes lyrics sized to that beat. It plans the words from the beat’s length and tempo: about a line a bar when rapped, a line every two bars at most tempos when sung, with the first and last few bars left to the beat. Then Lyro’s vocal model sings or raps them on your beat and returns the vocal on its own track. Already wrote some lines? Lyro keeps them word for word and fills the rest.

Lyro’s vocal model sings the hook on your beat’s grid and returns it as a vocal track of its own, so you keep it where the choruses go and leave the verses open for a rapper or a singer. How it works

Upload your instrumental and your lyrics, and Lyro’s vocal model sings them over your track and returns the vocal on its own: an acapella made for that track, ready to download into your own session. Because it is sung while the model listens to your music, it lands on your track’s grid instead of a sample pack’s fixed tempo and key. It is AI-made, the melody is the model’s, and we do not promise it is exclusive. It costs 7 credits for up to a minute of track, on every plan.

How it works

An AI vocal usually sounds off beat for one of five reasons: the tempo was read at half or double the real BPM, the beat file was messy, the lyrics did not fit the bars, the vocal starts in the wrong place, or the mix hides the timing. Fix them in that order. Check the BPM number before you generate, give the tool a clean WAV, write lines with a steady syllable count, slide the vocal so its first word lands on the first downbeat, then bring it up a little, add a touch of reverb and master to -14 LUFS. Plan on two or three tries for a take you keep. In Lyro the vocal model listens to your beat and sings on its grid, and anything that still sits early or late you move on the studio’s snap grid.

How it works

An AI vocal sounds out of key with your beat when it was given the wrong key, or when the model missed the key it was given. Key detection is an estimate: it can land on the relative key, such as A minor for a beat in C major, or on another key when the beat is sparse. Check the key before you generate and type the right one if you know it. If a finished vocal sits a semitone or two away from the beat all the way through, shift its pitch in the studio; if it clashes in a less even way, correct the key and generate again. In Lyro the key is read in your browser and you can change it before you generate. Lyrics in any language but Turkish go to a vocal model that hears your beat’s chords itself; the key you type steers Turkish lyrics and jobs that take the second path. Either way the vocal comes back as its own track, so your beat is never changed.

How it works

Lyro’s stem splitter separates a finished track into stems, in one of two modes. Pro, the default, puts every instrument it finds on its own track, up to 12 (vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, strings, synth and more), with a MIDI file for each instrument. Standard gives vocals, drums, bass and other, plus the instrumental. It works on songs you generated and on audio you upload. Use it to make an instrumental or an a cappella, to rebalance a mix, or to pull a vocal out for chopping. Pro costs 40 credits and Standard 6 credits, one price per song whatever its length, and both are part of the Creator plan.

How it works

Lyro has a multitrack mixer and a mastering stage that run in your browser, so they cost no credits. Bring a vocal and a beat, or stems from anywhere, and balance them with gain, pan, EQ, compression, reverb, delay and a tempo-synced pump. Mastering then brings the mix to a loudness target measured in LUFS, with a limiter and an A/B switch, and exports WAV. The studio is included on every plan.

How it works

Lyro’s lyric writer drafts song lyrics in 12 languages: hooks, verses and short vocal-chop phrases. It can also tighten or translate lyrics you already have. It is a writing assistant built on a large language model. It costs no credits: requests count against a monthly allowance that comes with your plan. The lyrics go straight into the song generator, laid out with section tags such as [Verse] and [Chorus] that the music model follows when it sings.

It suits a steady tempo best; a take that speeds up and slows down is harder to sing over. A vocal costs 7 credits for up to a minute of music.

Upload the beat or a loop of it, and Lyro’s vocal model sings short phrases on its grid, or words Lyro writes for the beat. It comes back as a track of its own.
