Create a song for your ad
To create a song for your ad, paste the address of the product or landing page you are advertising into Lyro’s Song Ad. Lyro writes the brief (one customer, a first line that stops the scroll, only the benefits the page states), then sings a 60 to 100 second song that ends on your call to action and a short instrumental ending. Cut a 15- or 30-second version in the studio for TikTok, Reels or radio, and add the platform’s AI label where it asks for one. It costs 12 credits to 20 credits on every paid plan.
How it goesThree steps
- Paste the page you are advertisingThe product or landing page the ad sends people to, so the song and the page say the same thing.
- Choose the first line and check the lyricsPick one of three opening lines, the one that sounds most like your customer. The lyrics follow, with your product in the chorus and the call to action last.
- Make it, then cut it for each placementMake two or three takes and keep the one that says the name clearly. Trim a 15- or 30-second cut in the studio for short placements.
The details
The first three seconds
On a feed, people decide in a moment whether to keep listening, so the song starts singing on the first beat, with no intro, and its first line is a confession in your customer’s voice (“My card said no in front of everyone”), not the product’s name. The product arrives in the chorus as the answer. Pick the opening line that sounds most like the person you are advertising to; it is always the first line sung.
Lengths for each placement
| Placement | Length to plan for |
|---|---|
| TikTok reservation in-feed ads | 5 to 60 seconds; TikTok recommends 9 to 15 |
| UK commercial radio | Most spots run 30 or 40 seconds |
| US radio | 15 seconds for the name, 30 for one offer, 60 for detail |
| Facebook and Instagram | No recommended length; shorter videos usually hold people better on mobile |
| YouTube, your site, in-store | The full song |
Song Ad makes 60 to 100 seconds, so the full song and the short cuts sound like the same brand. The sources for this table are in how to make a jingle for your business.
Sung claims are ad claims
A benefit sung in an ad is judged like a benefit written in one: in the US and the UK you need evidence for it before the ad runs. Song Ad only starts from what your page states, flags health, money and comparison claims, and warns you when the lyrics sing a price, a percentage or a promise your page does not show. The character in the song speaks as a customer, so present it as a song, never as a real customer’s review.
AI labels and the licence
- TikTok requires its AI-generated disclaimer on ads whose audio is fully AI-generated, and rejects or restricts ads with undisclosed AI content.
- YouTube asks creators to disclose AI-generated music; Meta adds an “AI info” label when it detects AI tools.
- Every paid Lyro plan includes a commercial licence for the songs you make, subject to our terms. Every download carries an ID3 tag declaring it AI-generated.

Where the limits are
- Song Ad makes the song, not the video: put it under your own footage in any editor.
- It needs a public page. For an ad with no page yet, write the lyrics yourself and make the song in Create.
- No real artist’s voice, name or song, and no copying another brand’s jingle.
- Every take differs, and a brand name can be misread: respell it under “Sung as”.
Questions
Can AI make a song for my ad?
Yes. Lyro’s Song Ad reads the page you are advertising and writes and sings a 60 to 100 second song for it, ending on your call to action. You can edit the brief and the lyrics first.
How long should a song for an ad be?
As long as the placement: TikTok recommends 9 to 15 seconds for its reservation in-feed ads, and UK radio’s most common spots run 30 and 40 seconds. Make the full song, then cut the chorus and the call to action for the short versions.
Can I use an AI song in a TikTok or Instagram ad?
Yes, with a licence that covers ads and the platform’s AI label: TikTok requires its AI-generated disclaimer on ads with fully AI-generated audio. Every paid Lyro plan includes a commercial licence.
Can the song say my brand name and website?
Yes. The name is sung in the chorus and your address at the end, the way people say it. Lyro keeps the name to three mentions, because the music model can refuse an unfamiliar name sung more often.
How much does a song for an ad cost?
12 credits for 60 seconds, up to 20 credits for 100, on every paid plan. Cutting it in the studio costs nothing. There is no free tier.
