# A personalized Halloween song for kids

Kids love Halloween for the costumes and the candy, not for real scares. This is a playful, never scary song with their name, their costume and their trick-or-treat plan, ready for the party or the ride to the neighborhood.

To be clear: Lyro is made with AI. AI writes the lyrics from what you tell us, an AI voice sings them, and you decide what gets sung before it happens.

## Fun, not frightening

The song is written to be friendly: silly ghosts who say "boo" and then giggle, pumpkins with goofy faces, a witch who forgets her broom. No monsters under the bed, no gore, nothing that keeps a five-year-old up at night. If your kids are older and like a little spooky, tell us, but the default stays light.

Halloween 2026 is on a Saturday, so expect parties all weekend.

## What to tell us

- **Name and age:** the song speaks to them directly.
- **Costume:** dinosaur, astronaut, princess, a homemade cardboard robot. The costume becomes the hero.
- **Trick-or-treat plan:** the street, the house with the full-size bars, the candy trade after.
- **Friends or siblings:** who goes with them.
- **Favorite candy:** the one they hide from everyone.

## Ways to use the song

- Play it at the class party or the family Halloween party, and let the kids dance.
- Play it in the car on the way to trick-or-treat.
- Make one for a group of cousins with all their costumes.
- Send it to the grandparents with a photo of the costume.

## Style

**Pop** with a funny mood is the best fit: bouncy, simple chorus, easy to sing. ** Rock** works for older kids who like guitars. A female, male or duet voice all work; a duet feels like a sing-along.

## Matching the song to the age

- **Ages 2 to 4:** lullaby or slow pop, lots of repetition, animals and pumpkins, no ghosts at all if they are easily scared.
- **Ages 5 to 8:** silly ghosts, candy counting, the costume as a superhero. Pop with a funny mood.
- **Ages 9 to 12:** a little spookier humor, inside jokes with friends, rock or rap.

## Sample lyric: a Halloween song for a six-year-old

An example, so you can see how specific lyrics can get. Your song is written from your details.

[Verse 1]
Here comes Leo, he’s a T. rex, stomp stomp stomp
With a pillowcase for candy and a tail that goes chomp
The ghost next door said "boo" and then he started to laugh
And Leo traded licorice for chocolate, half and half

[Chorus]
It’s Halloween, Leo, let’s go, let’s roar
Knock knock, trick or treat at every single door
The pumpkins are grinning and the moon is big and bright
Leo the dinosaur is king of the night

## Tell us about themThe more specific, the more personal the song. You read the lyrics before they are sung, and you can change them.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is the song really not scary?

Yes. It is written as playful and friendly for kids. You can read every line before it is sung and change anything that feels too spooky.

### Can I make it for a whole class or a group?

Yes, for a small group. List a few names and costumes; with too many names the song gets crowded, so "all of Room 12" works better for a whole class.

### Can I make a Halloween song for an adult?

Yes. Tell us their costume and the party, and choose a funny mood. Keep in mind this page is written mostly with kids in mind.

### How fast is it ready for the party?

Lyrics in under a minute, each version about 1 to 3 minutes. You can make it on Halloween afternoon.

### How much is it?

$29, one time. That includes up to 3 versions, the gift page and the MP3.
