## The basics

### What is Lyro Music?

Lyro Music is an AI song generator and music studio that turns a description, a vocal or a beat into a finished, mixed and mastered song. It runs in the browser and includes a prompt generator, a lyric writer in 12 languages, a stem splitter, a multitrack mixer and mastering. Lyro offers two music models under its own names, Lyro High and Lyro Extra, and recommends one by the job; work that starts from your own audio runs in its studio tools. It is operated by RNIFY Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16749515). Accounts are for people aged 16 or over. The [features](https://lyromusic.com/features) page lists everything it does.

### Is Lyro Music the same as Tidio’s Lyro chatbot?

No. Lyro Music (lyromusic.com) is an AI music studio run by RNIFY Limited in London. Tidio, a customer-service software company, sells an unrelated AI support chatbot that is also called Lyro. The two products share a word and nothing else: different companies, different purposes, no connection.

### Is Lyro Music a Google product, or the same thing as Lyria?

No. Lyria is the name Google DeepMind gives its music models. Lyro Music is an independent studio: it generates songs on two models from third-party providers, offered under its own names, Lyro High and Lyro Extra, and adds its own prompt generator, lyric writer, stem splitter, mixer and mastering. Lyro Music is not made, endorsed or run by Google.

### Do I need to know how to make music?

No. You can start from one sentence, such as “a warm afro house track for a sunset video, female vocal in Spanish”. The prompt generator turns it into a producer’s brief with tempo, drums, bass, chords and vocal, the lyric writer drafts the words, and Lyro picks the model. A [free version of the prompt generator](https://lyromusic.com/ai-music-prompt-generator) works from a few choices and needs no account. If you do produce, you can set the tempo, key, lyrics and model yourself, split the result into stems and take them into your own software. The short quiz at [Make a song](https://lyromusic.com/start) is the quickest way in.

### What can I start from?

You can start from nothing, a vocal, a beat, or both. With nothing, you describe a song and Lyro generates it. With a vocal, Lyro writes a beat around it. With a beat, Lyro adds a vocal, either singing your lyrics on the beat or improvising a topline (a vocal melody). With both, you open them in the mixer, balance them and master the result. A beat for your vocal and a vocal for your beat are on every plan, Starter included, and so is mixing and mastering a vocal and a beat you already have. Each route has its own page: [AI song generator](https://lyromusic.com/features/ai-song-generator), [a beat for your vocal](https://lyromusic.com/features/add-beat-to-vocals), [vocals for your beat](https://lyromusic.com/features/add-vocals-to-beat), [mixing and mastering](https://lyromusic.com/features/mixing-mastering).

### Which AI models does Lyro use?

Lyro offers two generation models, under its own names. Lyro High is the default for songs, vocal chops and instrumentals, and costs 4 credits a song. Lyro Extra, added on 24 September 2026, costs 5 credits; by its provider’s account it gives richer arrangements and more expressive vocals, and it is made for English, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Portuguese, not yet for Turkish. Both come from third-party providers, are reached through fal.ai, and their output carries an inaudible watermark added by the model provider. Lyro High is the default because its model won the one blind listening test we have run: one rater, seven Turkish-language briefs and three models, on 21 September 2026, where it scored 4.57 out of 5 overall. Lyro Extra came after that test; in a separate check (one Turkish song on each model, transcribed) Lyro High came back word for word and Lyro Extra lost a verse, so the app holds Lyro Extra back for Turkish lyrics. Work on your own audio runs in Lyro’s studio tools. We have not tested other languages, or each genre. Read [how we test](https://lyromusic.com/learn/how-we-test-ai-music-models) for the method and its limits.

### How is Lyro different from Suno or Udio?

Lyro differs in three ways, and they are narrower than you might expect: it never counts or caps downloads, its mixer and mastering are included on every plan and use no credits, and it chose its model for sung lyrics with a small Turkish pronunciation test. Starting from your own audio is not a difference. Suno’s pricing page lists audio upload on every plan, adding a vocal or an instrumental to a song on paid plans, stem separation on Pro and Premier, and Suno Studio on Premier ([Suno pricing page, checked 21 Sep 2026](https://suno.com/pricing)), and Udio’s Standard plan generates songs from uploaded audio files ([Udio pricing page, checked 21 Sep 2026](https://www.udio.com/pricing)). What Lyro does with your audio is specific: it detects tempo and key in the browser, writes a beat around your vocal, or sings your lyrics on your beat and returns the vocal as a track of its own. On downloads, from 3 September 2026 Suno limits them to 20 a month on Pro and 60 a month on Premier, with no limit on exports from Suno Studio on Premier ([Suno blog, 10 Aug 2026](https://suno.com/blog/suno-updates-tos)), and Udio disabled downloads of audio, video and stems after its Universal Music Group partnership ([Udio help centre](https://help.udio.com/en/articles/12683565-changes-associated-with-the-universal-music-group-umg-partnership)). Both are strong products. Both have a free tier and cost less per song, and Lyro has no free plan. See [Lyro vs Suno](https://lyromusic.com/compare/lyro-vs-suno) and [Lyro vs Udio](https://lyromusic.com/compare/lyro-vs-udio) for the detail.

## Making music

### Which languages can Lyro sing in?

Lyro writes and sings in 12 languages: English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Russian. Quality differs between models and between languages. Turkish is the only language we have blind-tested: in one small internal test (one rater, seven briefs, 21 September 2026) the model behind Lyro High scored 4.67 out of 5 for Turkish pronunciation, so sung Turkish goes to Lyro High. Lyro Extra is made for English, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Portuguese, and the app holds it back for Turkish lyrics. We have not blind-tested the other 11 languages, so judge them by ear on your first generations. AI vocals can still mispronounce a word, especially names, slang and rare words. If that happens, respell the word the way it sounds and generate again. Details are on the [how we test](https://lyromusic.com/learn/how-we-test-ai-music-models) page.

### Can Lyro write the lyrics for me?

Yes. The lyric writer drafts hooks, verses and vocal-chop phrases in 12 languages, and it can tighten or translate lyrics you already have. It uses no credits: each request counts against your plan’s monthly writing-assistant allowance (100 requests on Starter, 400 on Creator). Lyrics are laid out with section tags such as [Verse] and [Chorus], which the music model follows when it sings. You stay in control: edit any line before you generate, or paste in your own words and skip the writer. Your own writing also matters for rights, because the US Copyright Office says human-authored elements of a work can be protected while purely AI-generated material cannot. More on the [AI lyrics generator](https://lyromusic.com/features/ai-lyrics-generator) page.

### Can I make a beat or an instrumental with no vocals?

Yes. Choose no vocals and Lyro generates an instrumental from your description, on Lyro High (4 credits a track) or Lyro Extra (5 credits), whatever the length. You can set a BPM and key; the models treat them as guidance, not an exact lock, so check a render with the free [BPM and key finder](https://lyromusic.com/tools/bpm-key-finder) if you will record over it. When music has to fit audio you already have, the studio tools that start from your vocal follow its tempo and key. On the Creator plan you can split the result into drums, bass and other stems and rebalance it in the mixer. See the [AI beat maker](https://lyromusic.com/features/ai-beat-maker) page.

### Which model made my track?

The model is shown on each track in your library: Lyro High, Lyro Extra, or Lyro Studio for anything built on audio you uploaded. Before you generate, you see which model is recommended, Lyro High by default, and what each costs in credits, and you can pick the other. Knowing the model matters because the two have different strengths, and Lyro Extra is not made for Turkish yet, so the model explains a lot about how a track sounds. The reasoning is under [model routing](https://lyromusic.com/glossary#model-routing) in the glossary.

### What happens to my credits when a generation fails?

If a generation fails or times out, every credit it used goes back to your balance automatically, and you do not need to ask. That includes credits prepaid for follow-up steps: if a vocal for your beat fails on both of its paths, every credit for it comes back. You see a notice in the app, and the refund appears as its own line in your credit history. If a finished file is faulty, for example silent or cut short, [contact us](https://lyromusic.com/contact) and we will return the credits or run it again. A track you simply do not like is not a failed generation, so it is not refunded.

### Can I download my songs?

Yes, and downloads are never counted or capped on any plan. Your plan sets how much you can generate, not how often you can take files home. MP3 and FLAC downloads and WAV export from the studio are included on Starter and Creator, and Creator adds separated stems. Every download of generated audio includes an ID3 tag, a machine-readable field inside the file, that declares it AI-generated. What you have downloaded stays with you if you later cancel. The [pricing](https://lyromusic.com/pricing) page lists what each plan includes.

### Can Lyro make an ad song or a jingle for my product?

Yes. Paste your product page into [Song Ad](https://lyromusic.com/features/song-ad) and Lyro reads it, writes a brief that keeps only the benefits the page states, then writes and sings a 60 to 100 second ad song that ends on your call to action. It costs 12 credits to 20 credits by length, on every paid plan. For a short jingle, describe it in Create instead; songs start at 30 seconds. See also the [AI jingle generator](https://lyromusic.com/features/ai-jingle-generator) and [can you use AI music in ads?](https://lyromusic.com/learn/can-you-use-ai-music-in-ads)

### Can Lyro make a video ad with the song?

Yes. Once the ad song is ready, the Clip step draws a storyboard, one picture per sung line with the same character in every shot and your product in the shots about it, animates the shots you choose and puts together a 1080 × 1920 MP4 with the sung words on screen, your page’s offer and an end card. Our 60-second example cost 40 credits for the storyboard and 79 credits to animate every shot; a video from the pictures alone costs nothing more. See the [AI video ad maker](https://lyromusic.com/features/ai-video-ad-maker).

## Using your own vocal or beat

### Can I use my own vocal?

Yes. Upload a vocal or record one in the browser, and Lyro writes a beat around it. Lyro detects the tempo and key of your vocal in the browser, then its studio tools compose the instruments to fit your phrasing. They come back as a new track of instruments only, and your original vocal is kept untouched on its own track in the mixer, so you can balance the two. It costs one credit per started minute, with a minimum of 5 credits, and is on every plan, Starter included. A dry vocal at a steady tempo gives the best result. Details are on the [add a beat to your vocals](https://lyromusic.com/features/add-beat-to-vocals) page.

### Can I add an AI vocal to my own beat?

Yes, in two ways. If you give Lyro lyrics, or say what the song is about and let it write them, Lyro’s vocal model listens to your beat, sings your words on it and returns the vocal alone, as its own track, so your beat is never altered. Turkish lyrics, and jobs moved on when that model is busy, are sung by Lyro High at your beat’s tempo and key and the vocal is separated out. Either way it costs 7 credits for a beat of up to a minute and 11 credits for three minutes. If you give no lyrics, Lyro writes words sized to your beat and the same vocal model sings them, for 6 credits for a beat of up to 5 minutes. Both are on every plan, Starter included. See the [add vocals to a beat](https://lyromusic.com/features/add-vocals-to-beat) page.

### How does Lyro find the tempo and key of my file?

Lyro analyses the file in your browser and reads its BPM (tempo) and musical key in a few seconds, before anything is generated. Those readings steer the new part, so a generated beat or vocal lines up with yours; the vocal model that sings lyrics on a beat also listens to the beat itself. Detection is an estimate. Tempo can come out at half or double the real value, and a key can be confused with its relative, such as C major and A minor. You can correct both before you generate. The free [BPM and key finder](https://lyromusic.com/tools/bpm-key-finder) checks any file the same way.

### Can I split a song into stems?

Yes. The stem splitter separates a track in your library, generated or uploaded, in one of two modes, each at one price per song whatever its length. Pro, the default, puts every instrument it finds on its own track, up to 12 (vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, strings, synth and more), and gives a MIDI file for each instrument, for 40 credits. Standard gives vocals, drums, bass and other, plus the instrumental (everything but the vocal), for 6 credits. The stems arrive as WAV files, and the splitter is part of the Creator plan. Separation is an estimate made by a neural network, so expect some artefacts: a little reverb or cymbal left in the vocal, or thin-sounding high frequencies. Clean, sparse mixes separate best. Only upload recordings you have the right to use, because splitting a track gives you no rights in it. More on the [stem splitter](https://lyromusic.com/features/stem-splitter) page.

### Can I mix and master my own vocal and beat without generating anything?

Yes. If you already have both parts, open them in the multitrack mixer, balance them and master the result. Mixing and mastering run in your browser, so they use no credits, and they are included on every plan. Each track has gain, pan, EQ, compression, reverb, delay and a tempo-synced pump. Mastering brings the mix to a loudness target in LUFS with a limiter, and an A/B switch lets you compare before and after. Because the audio is processed on your device, phones and tablets have less memory for long, many-track projects than a laptop. See the [mixing and mastering](https://lyromusic.com/features/mixing-mastering) page.

## Plans, credits and billing

### How much does Lyro cost?

Lyro costs from $6 a month billed yearly. Starter is $14 a month, or $6 a month billed yearly ($72), with 80 credits a month. Creator is $24 a month, or $7 a month billed yearly ($84), with 300 credits a month. Yearly billing is up to 70% off, and its credits still arrive every month. Teams and Ads is a custom plan by application, described on the [teams](https://lyromusic.com/teams) page. Prices are set in US dollars; at checkout you may see and pay the amount in your own currency, converted by our payment provider. Plans are billed monthly or yearly, and each plan renews at the same price until you cancel. There is no free tier and no free trial; a new account may get a one-time offer by email, with its terms. The [pricing](https://lyromusic.com/pricing) page has the full comparison.

### What does a song cost in credits?

A song, vocal-chop track or instrumental costs 4 credits on Lyro High and 5 credits on Lyro Extra, whatever its length. A beat under your vocal costs one credit per started minute with a minimum of 5, and an improvised vocal over your beat, with words Lyro writes, 6 credits for a beat of up to 5 minutes. Restyling a track costs 11 credits (16 credits when Lyro first reads the words from the song), and redoing a section with new words 6 credits. Stem separation costs 40 credits a song in Pro mode and 6 credits in Standard mode, whatever the length. Cover art is made only when you ask for it: 11 credits for a 4096 × 4096 cover made for that song, which you can download. The writing tools, mixing and mastering use no credits. Starter gives 80 credits a month and Creator 300, to spend on any mix of these. The [pricing](https://lyromusic.com/pricing) page has the full table.

### What is the difference between Starter and Creator?

Both plans include the studio, WAV export and your own vocal or beat as a starting point. Creator adds far more credits at a lower price per credit, the stem splitter and 3 generations at once. Starter ($14 a month, 80 credits) includes generation, your own vocal or beat (a vocal for your beat, a beat for your vocal), the prompt generator, the lyric writer, recording in the browser, the studio (multitrack mixer, vocal tools and mastering, with WAV export), your library, share pages and MP3 and FLAC downloads. Creator ($24 a month, 300 credits) adds many more credits at a lower price per credit ($0.17 on Starter, about $0.080 on Creator), the stem splitter and 3 generations running at once. Both include a commercial licence and uncapped downloads. If you make a few songs a month, from a description or on your own vocal or beat, Starter is enough. To split stems or make many songs, choose Creator. Compare them on the [pricing](https://lyromusic.com/pricing) page.

### Do unused credits roll over?

Yes. Plan credits you do not use carry over once, up to one month's worth, for as long as the plan stays active. So your balance at a renewal is never more than two months of plan credits: last month’s unused credits, capped at one month’s worth, plus the new month. Anything above that lapses, and carried-over credits lapse when the plan ends. Top-up credits are separate: they never expire, they are spent after your plan credits, and they stay usable after a plan ends. If you are on Creator and use fewer than 80 credits most months, [Starter](https://lyromusic.com/pricing) will cost you less.

### Can I buy more credits if I run out?

Yes. Subscribers can buy a top-up at any time: 20 credits for $15, 40 credits for $25 or 100 credits for $58. Top-up credits never expire, they are spent only after your plan credits, and they stay usable after your plan ends, with Starter’s feature set. You need an active plan to buy one. A top-up credit costs more than a credit on any plan ($0.58 to $0.75, against $0.17 on Starter and about $0.080 on Creator), so if you run out most months, Creator gives you far more credits at a lower price per credit than top-ups do. See the [pricing](https://lyromusic.com/pricing) page.

### Why do top-ups cost more per credit than a plan?

Top-ups cost more per credit because they are a one-off purchase with no commitment, and the lower rate is what a monthly plan earns. A Starter credit works out at $0.17 and a Creator credit at about $0.080. A top-up credit costs $0.58 to $0.75 depending on the size ($2.32 to $3.00 a song), which is about 3.3 to 4.3 times the Starter rate. In return, top-up credits never expire and stay usable after a plan ends. If you run out most months, top-ups are the dearer way per credit: moving to a bigger plan is charged pro rata, the extra credits arrive at once, and you can move back down at the next renewal. The [pricing](https://lyromusic.com/pricing) page lists both plans and every pack.

### Is there a free trial?

No. Lyro has no free trial and no free tier. Every generation costs us real money at the model provider, and we would rather spend it on better models than on free credits. You can still judge the quality before you pay. The [showcase](https://lyromusic.com/showcase) has real tracks made on Lyro with the prompts behind them, and the [AI music prompt generator](https://lyromusic.com/ai-music-prompt-generator) and the [BPM and key finder](https://lyromusic.com/tools/bpm-key-finder) are free to use. The smallest plan is $14 a month, and you can cancel in the app in two clicks.

### How do I change my plan?

You change plan inside the app, from Settings, then Billing: pick Starter or Creator. It takes one click, plus a confirmation when the change means a charge. Moving up is charged pro rata straight away, and the extra credits land in your balance at once. If you move from Starter to Creator, Creator starts at once and your unused credits carry over. Moving down takes effect at your next renewal, which is when the lower price and the smaller monthly allowance start, and the credits you have already been given stay with you. Your library is not affected either way. If you subscribed on an earlier plan, you keep that plan, its price and its credits for as long as you stay on it. Both plans and their credits are listed on the [pricing](https://lyromusic.com/pricing) page.

### Can I pause my plan?

Yes. You can pause a plan for up to 3 months, in whole months, from Settings, then Billing. While it is paused you are not charged and no new credits arrive. Your library stays exactly as it is, and the plan starts again by itself on the date shown, or sooner if you resume it yourself. A pause is also one of the things you may be offered when you start to cancel. If you expect to be away for longer, cancelling is the straightforward choice: your library is kept for 30 days after the plan ends, and downloads are uncapped, so you can save everything first.

### How do I cancel?

You cancel in the app: open Settings, then Billing, then Cancel plan. It takes two clicks, with no phone call and no email. On the way you see one optional question about why you are leaving and up to two offers (a pause, the $14 Starter plan or bonus credits, and, once per account, a year at 70% off). Every screen has a plain button that cancels straight away. Your plan and credits stay active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you can undo the cancellation until then. Consumers in the UK or EU who subscribed less than 14 days ago and have not used any credit get a full refund, explained on the [cancellation and refunds](https://lyromusic.com/legal/refunds) page.

### Can I get a refund?

Only if you have not used any credit. Consumers in the UK or EU who cancel a new plan, an upgrade or a top-up within 14 days without having used a credit get a full refund. At checkout you ask Lyro to start immediately and acknowledge that once you use a credit, you lose the 14-day right to cancel and no refund is due. That applies whatever the price. After 14 days there are no refunds; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Faulty files are always put right, and failed generations return their credits automatically. The full rules are on the [cancellation and refunds](https://lyromusic.com/legal/refunds) page.

### What happens to my library if I cancel?

Nothing is deleted when you cancel: your library is kept while your account is active, meaning it has a plan or unused top-up credits, and for 30 more days after that. We remind you by email and in the app 30, 7 and 1 days before the date. Then tracks and studio projects are deleted, and the account itself stays. Restarting a plan before the date keeps everything. Downloads are uncapped, so you can save any track first, and your [commercial licence](https://lyromusic.com/legal/music-rights) is perpetual, so cancelling does not end it. Unused plan credits lapse when the plan ends, and top-up credits stay usable.

### How does the invite a friend programme work?

Every subscriber has an invite link, and when a friend starts a paid plan through it you both get 20 credits that never expire. The credits are released 7 days after your friend’s first payment, provided their plan is still active on that day. You can earn at most 10 rewards a month. Inviting yourself, or someone in your own household or on your own network, is not rewarded. The link sets one first-party cookie called `lyro_ref` that lasts 30 days, and its only job is to credit the invite to you. It is not used for advertising or tracking.

## Rights, releasing and AI labels

### Who owns the music I make on Lyro?

As between you and us, you own whatever rights exist in your tracks, and Lyro claims none. We also grant you a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use your outputs commercially, subject to our terms and our model providers’ terms. What we cannot promise is that copyright protects a track in the first place. In the United States, works generated entirely by AI are not copyrightable, and UK law on computer-generated works is under review. We also do not warrant that outputs are original or non-infringing. The plain-English version is on the [music rights](https://lyromusic.com/legal/music-rights) page.

### Can I use my songs commercially?

Yes. Every paid plan includes a commercial licence, so you may release and monetise the tracks you make, subject to our terms and our model providers’ terms. The licence is worldwide, perpetual and royalty-free, which means you owe Lyro nothing per stream or per use. Two limits are worth knowing. We do not warrant that an output is original or non-infringing, and we give no indemnity, so the decision to release is yours. And platforms and distributors set their own rules on AI music. Read the [music rights](https://lyromusic.com/legal/music-rights) page before a commercial release.

### Is AI-generated music protected by copyright?

Often not, and it depends on the country and on how much of the work a human made. The US Copyright Office concluded in January 2025 that works generated entirely by AI are not copyrightable and that prompts alone are not enough, while human-authored elements, selection, arrangement and modification can be protected ([US Copyright Office, Copyright and AI, Part 2](https://www.copyright.gov/ai/)). In the UK, section 9(3) of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 protects computer-generated works, but the Government’s March 2026 report on copyright and AI said that protection should be removed, and the law is under review. This is not legal advice. See the [music rights](https://lyromusic.com/legal/music-rights) page.

### Can I release my songs on Spotify, Deezer or TikTok?

Yes, your licence allows it, but each platform and distributor applies its own rules on AI music. As checked on 21 September 2026, none of Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, YouTube or TikTok bans music for being made with AI. Spotify supports voluntary AI credits, removes voice impersonation, filters spam, and leaves artist profiles that carry its [AI Persona badge](https://lyromusic.com/learn/spotify-ai-persona-badge) out of recommendations by default. Deezer tags fully AI-generated tracks and leaves them out of recommendations. YouTube and TikTok require a label on realistic AI-generated content. Distributors differ, and some reject fully AI-generated music, so check your distributor’s current policy before you upload. Be open about how the track was made: Lyro’s downloads already carry an AI-generated tag. Our [policy tracker](https://lyromusic.com/learn/does-spotify-allow-ai-music) keeps a dated list with each platform’s own source, and [Can you monetise AI music?](https://lyromusic.com/learn/can-you-monetize-ai-music) covers the money side.

### Are Lyro tracks labelled as AI-generated?

Yes. Every download of generated audio carries an ID3 tag, a machine-readable field inside the file, that declares it AI-generated. Tracks made on Lyro High and Lyro Extra also carry an inaudible watermark added by the model provider. Our acceptable use policy does not allow removing either mark. Article 50 of the EU AI Act, on transparency for AI-generated content, applies from 2 August 2026 ([EU AI Act, Article 50](https://artificialintelligenceact.eu/article/50/)). Systems already on the market before that date have until 2 December 2026 to meet its marking duty ([European Commission, 24 Jul 2026](https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/faqs/transparency-obligations-under-article-50-ai-act)). In a survey of 9,000 people, 80% wanted AI music clearly labelled ([Deezer and Ipsos, 12 Nov 2025](https://newsroom-deezer.com/2025/11/deezer-ipsos-survey-ai-music/)). More under [AI disclosure](https://lyromusic.com/glossary#ai-disclosure) in the glossary.

### Can I use a famous artist’s voice or name?

No. Lyro has no voice-cloning feature, and our rules do not allow you to imitate a real person’s voice without their documented consent, to name a real artist as a style, or to pass a track off as theirs. A real person’s voice, name and likeness can be protected by law, and the rules differ by country. Platforms act on it as well: Spotify, for example, bans impersonation. So describe the sound you want instead: tempo, instruments, vocal tone, mood. The voices you choose on Lyro are generic types, such as a soulful female or a deep male voice, not real people. See our [acceptable use policy](https://lyromusic.com/legal/acceptable-use) for the full rule.

## Account, privacy and safety

### How do I contact support, and how fast is the reply?

Open Help inside the app and write to us: that starts a conversation with the team, and we aim to reply within one working day. The ticket carries your plan, your credit balance and your last failed job, so you do not have to explain the basics. If you have no account, or cannot sign in, the public [contact form](https://lyromusic.com/contact) lands in the same inbox. Replies show up in the app and are emailed to you. For a failed generation you do not need to write at all, because the credits come back automatically. To report a track, use the “Report this track” control on its share page.

### What in-app messages will I get, and how do I turn tips and offers off?

You get messages about your own account, which are always shown, and tips, product news and offers, which you can switch off in Settings, then Notifications. Account messages cover a failed payment, a plan that is ending, a library deletion date, a support reply or a refund. Tips and offers are on by default, as the Terms say, and have hard limits: at most 1 a day and 5 a week, never while a generation is running, and a message you dismiss stays away for 7 days, for 30 after a second dismissal and for good after a third. A countdown only ever shows a real deadline, the moment an offer on your account really ends, and there is no fake scarcity.

### Does Lyro train on my uploads?

No. Lyro does not train AI models, on your uploads or on anything else. When you upload a vocal or a beat, the file is stored in your library and sent to the model provider only to process your request, for example to compose a beat around it or to split it into stems. Model inference runs at fal.ai in the USA, and files are stored with Cloudflare. Your files are private unless you switch on a share link for a track. The [privacy notice](https://lyromusic.com/legal/privacy) lists every processor and what each one receives.

### Who processes my data?

Lyro uses a short list of processors, each for one job. Cloudflare provides hosting, the database and file storage (USA and global). fal.ai runs the AI models in the USA: the music models behind Lyro High and Lyro Extra, which come from third-party providers named in the privacy notice, and, for the writing assistant, a language model reached through OpenRouter. Stripe handles payments. Cloudflare Email Service sends our emails. Google Analytics measures visits, only if you allow it. When you choose a password, it is checked against known breaches using the Have I Been Pwned range API: only the first five characters of a SHA-1 hash are sent, never the password itself. The [privacy notice](https://lyromusic.com/legal/privacy) has the full details.

### Who can hear the tracks I share?

Only people who have the link. Share pages are unlisted: they are marked noindex so search engines do not list them, and Lyro has no public feed where strangers could browse your music. Nothing is shared until you switch sharing on for a track, and you can switch it off again. Each share page has a “Report this track” control, so anyone who thinks a track infringes their rights or breaks our rules can flag it for review. How we handle reports is set out on the [copyright and takedowns](https://lyromusic.com/legal/copyright) page.

### Does Lyro use cookies or ad trackers?

Lyro uses no advertising trackers. Its only third-party analytics is Google Analytics, which runs only if you allow it; the “Google Analytics: on/off” switch in the footer withdraws consent. Otherwise it sets a small number of first-party cookies: `lyro_s` keeps you signed in, `lyro_in` is a signed-in hint, `lyro_a` is an anonymous analytics id kept for 12 months, and a few others remember your choices. If you arrive through a friend’s invite link, `lyro_ref` is kept for 30 days, only to credit the invite. Analytics run under the statistical-purposes exception in the UK’s PECR rules, in force since 5 February 2026. You can opt out at any time with the analytics switch in the footer of every page, which also removes the `lyro_a` cookie. The full list is on the [cookies and analytics](https://lyromusic.com/legal/cookies) page.

### Can I export my data or delete my account?

Yes. From Settings you can download a copy of the data held about your account, and you can delete the account. Deleting ends any paid plan at the same moment, so there is nothing to cancel first and you are not charged again. It then erases your tracks, projects, support tickets and activity, signs you out everywhere and strips the account record of your email address and name. Unused credits are lost, and billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Download anything you want to keep before you delete. The [privacy notice](https://lyromusic.com/legal/privacy) explains your rights under data protection law.
